After a few really hectic days we made it to Kauai. It was harder to pack up an entire house into boxes and backpacks than we had thought. But with everyone in the family helping us out immensely, we made it. Thank you so much!!
We left Rach and Dan's house yesterday at around 4am so we could get to the airport early. We weren't sure if our bags would be too heavy, and sure enough, they were. But the lady at the counter let us check them anyway without taking anything out. Wow this blog is getting boring fast.
So we're in Kauai now.
Last night when we got to our room, we found a huge spider waiting for us on the wall outside our door. Unfortunately we didn't have anything right then to catch it with, so I just played with it for a few minutes until it ran away. Sorry Teancum, I wanted to send it back with Ma and Pa :) I looked it up on the information superhighway (ISH) and found a picture of it. The website says it's a cane spider and it gets between 3"-4", but the one we saw was between 5"-6" with its legspan. Here's the site: http://www.instanthawaii.com/cgi-bin/hawaii?Animals.cane
Anyway, it's warm here. It's been around 70 degrees the whole time. Our room has no AC, but the whole thing has vents around it that let the air through. Our room is separated from the next room by a door. We can clearly hear every word the neighbors say. And they have a baby. So far it's been ok though.
The scenery is very pretty. There are lots of sharp peaks and valleys, and it's very green. We woke up today at 8am Hawaii time. Haha. Anyway, we have ISH access in our room, which is a blessing and a curse. I'm in Hawaii right now, and I'm on the internet.
How do you end a blog entry? Goodbye?

Hey can you tell I'm at work and really bored? Still cold and rainy here.
So what are you going to do about heavy luggage for your next flight? Wear 10 layers of clothes, perhaps?
